FATHER-SON CAMPOUT
Its time again for the annual JCSA Father-Son Campout!
This year it will be Friday, June 8th; you can arrive any
time after 5:00 pm Friday, and checkout time is 2:00 pm Saturday. The
campout is held at Huggy Bear Campground, which is off of Old 30
heading towards Van Wert (turn left after the truck stop look for the
Huggy Bear signs (address is 9065 Ringwald Rd)
The cost for the campout is $4.00 per person -
non-refundable.
You will need to bring: beverages, munchies, a tent,
sleeping equipment, fishing equipment if you want to fish, sports
equipment, folding lawn chairs, bug spray, swimsuits, etc. You can
bring firewood, but the campground does have it available to purchase.
If anyone plans to bring a camper, please state this on the form below
there is limited space, and they need to know ahead of time;
if you hook up to the electricity you will need to pay
extra at the office, also.
At the campout, hotdogs and marshmallows will be
provided. If you have roasting forks, bring them along. At the
campground they have a small grocery store, a pool, a pond for fishing
or swimming, a volleyball court, basketball court, horseshoes and a nice
miniature golf course. Doughnuts and juice will be provided for
breakfast Saturday morning.
