There are many fundraising techniques that fit into
existing shopping habits.
Do you know that your Chief Supermarket receipt can earn cash for
St. John’s? The company donates one percent of the total of all receipts
back to the school. But we don’t get the money unless receipts are
turned in.
The Meijer Community Rewards program also means
money for the school. It’s not a credit card. The company makes a
donation based on the amount you spend each month. There are no receipts
to turn in; the company keeps track for you. All you have to do is
register for the program at the store or online at
meijer.com and present the card when
you make a purchase.
Sterling also has a donation program. Save all
Holy Cow lids from milk and other products and Sterling pays the school
5 cents for each one.
The Campbell Company awards free educational
equipment based on proofs of purchase from its products included in the
Labels for Education program. Please cut out the UPC code located next
to the image.
General Mills also offers money to schools
through its Box Tops for Education. Just clip the logo off the box and
turn it in.
All labels and receipts can be put in the Sunday
collection or dropped off at school. What can be easier than doing
something more with what you are already buying? If you have any
questions please call the school or rectory.
